New Delhi 9 April, 2017: Namdhari Sikh, it is an ideology of the Sikhs. In the year 1863, Satguru Ram Singh Ji (Namdhari Guru) was the first one to originate and initiate with simple, economical and inter-caste marriages. He was the very first to implement the intake of holy water by women as for the higher contribution and made widow marriage significant.
His descendant, Satguru Dalip Singh Ji (9 April,2017) has inaugurated with the ritual in Delhi, which depicts the arrangement of marriage ceremony by women in which each responsibility will be conducted by women only. By this, Satguru Dalip Singh Ji is implementing aggregate consideration for women in every field.
So as to provide eminent position for women, this is a stupendous and revolutionary step by the Namdhari Sikh Sangat. Historically, it is for the very first time that the marriages will be conducted and arranged by women with all the customs and rituals.
It is a humble request, to provide media coverage for this occasion and promoting it, so that the society recognizes women at the foremost position and also providing stimulation amongst women.
