Guru Nanak Naam Leva Conference
“Eikaa Baanee Eik Gur Eiko Sabadh Veechaar” According to this Gurbani verse, the entire Sikh Panth is one. Despite being a Sikh of the same Guru, the Sikh panth is divided into several sects. We must bind the entire Sikh panth in the thread of love while preserving the existence of all those elements. Because the single garland of pearls that believe in Satguru Nanak Dev Ji should shine throughout the world.
However, it is recorded in Gurubani: “Maaeiaa Mohi Sabho Jag Soeiaa Eihu Bharam Kehahu Kio Jaaee, Eaekaa Sangath Eikath Grihi Basathae Mil Baath N Karathae Bhaaee” We Sikhs who believe in the same Satguru Nanak Dev Ji and the same Gurbani are being battled for no cause, as a consequence of which the Sikh panth is shrinking and Sikh devotion is decreasing. Sikhism has expanded from Turkey to Assam and from Tibet to Sri Lanka during the reign of Satguru Nanak. However, today, our children not believing that we are Sikhs, and the Sikh panth has declined significantly also in our Punjab.
On the guidance of Thakur Dalip Singh Ji (Present Namdhari Head), Namdhari Sangat held the "Guru Nanak Nam Lewa Conference" on April 21, 2014, at Chinmay Mission Lodhi Road in New Delhi. While addressing attendant Thakur Ji stated that, we Sikhs are called after Satguru Nanak Dev Ji. We seek to unify all Sikh sects and establish the Sikh Panth as the dominant force. Because it is written in Gurbani: “Eikaa Baanee Eik Gur Eiko Sabadh Veechaar” According to this passage of Gurbani, recognising Satguru Nanak Dev Ji as Guru unites the whole Sikh panth, and any living person who accepts him as Guru is a Sikh. As a result, no gentleman may disregard a Sikhism adherent. Nobody may declare to anyone, "You are not a Sikh."
We, the Namdhari Sangat, desire to propagate Satguru Nanak Dev Ji all over the world by uniting every Sikh Panth. We aim to spread Sikhism and have people all around the world adore Satguru Nanak Dev Ji.
Because, Sri Satguru Ram Singh Ji (Guru of Namdharis), have taught the Namdhari Sikhs to conduct their lives in accordance with Gurbani and to chant Naam, and reciting Naam in Gurbani is extremely essential. By reciting the name, we are known as Namdhari Sikhs. “Naam Dhhaaree Saran Thaeree” As a result, the Namdhari Sangat is an essential component of the Sikh panth.
Thakur ji also mentioned the primary reason for his grandpa Satguru Pratap Singh Ji's 1934 meeting of Guru Nanak Naam Lewa Panth: You cannot be oblivious that we have lost our nation and become slaves solely through the mercy of Division. Is there more cancer in our situation? This is a terribly sad state of affairs in my country. I make this request in the name of Satguru Nanak Dev Ji! This division plant, which is still in its early stages, must be removed with enthusiasm. As a result, the panth could avoid its toxic fruits. You are all smart Gursikhs. My religion leads me to repeatedly implore that you live with such love and harmony that people of all religions and races appreciate and revere you. If all of you gentlemen can accept my offer to erase all illusions and become friends, I will be overjoyed. I beseech Satguru, the actual saint, to instil a love of Sikhism in your hearts.
It is inscribed in the verses of Sri Satguru Nanak Dev Ji “Jae Eik Hoe Th Ougavai” As a result, 80 years ago in 1934, the Sikhs named after Satguru Nanak Dev Ji, led by Satguru Partap Singh Ji, convened the "Satguru Nanak Naam Lewa Conference" at their native site Bhaini Sahib to promote the Sikh panth.
In which all Sikh sects named after Guru Nanak were united and Gurbani was recited “Hoe Eikathr Milahu Maerae Bhaaee Dhubidhhaa Dhoor Karahu Liv Laae” was a triumph, and the verse was written down in Gurbani “Milabae Kee Mehimaa Baran N Saako Naanak Parai Pareelaa” All Sikh sects came, and the Sikhs' top leaders, including Master Tara Singh, S. Sundar Singh Majithia, Bhai Arjan Singh Bagaria, and others, participated and played the role. Following Satguru Ji's instructions, we are also making significant efforts to unite the Sikh panth today.
As a result, Thakur ji requested on behalf of the Namdhari Sangat that all Sikhs: Please help us in this noble task so that the Sikh panth might flourish. Our aim is for the entire globe to honour Satguru Nanak Dev Ji. Allow the Sikh panth to expand throughout the world. To do this task, we must all spread the Panth. We can only develop together; we can only shrink by fighting. Increasing the cult is not a tough undertaking for Khalsa; all that is required is the creation of the notion of increasing the cult.
Our Namdhari Sangat shares the same goal of organizing an all-community convention in Guru Nanak's honour, since our Sikh panth is disintegrating owing to mutual discord. Let's strive to raise it, but panth will rise if we stop fighting and sit together. As a result, let us all endeavour to unify as Guru Nanak Dev Ji's disciples. It makes no mention of Namdhari, Nirmale, Akali, or any other characters. Here, it is about everyone who regards Satguru Nanak Dev Ji as their spiritual guru, regardless of how he may or may not accept it, let us all work together to help the Sikh panth flourish and to convey Satguru Nanak Dev ji's message over the world with this the whole globe embraces Satguru ji with devotion. The prominent Sikh Panth personality, Jathedar Giani Iqbal Singh of Akal Takht Patna Sahib, Head Granthi of Takht Damdama Sahib, participated in this conference. Balwant Singh ji, Bhai Ishar Singh ji, Dr. Swami Ji, Kaleran Wale Sant Ji, Secretary of Shiromani Committee Harmandir Sahib, and members of Gurdwara Management Committee Delhi, among others, were also present.
